Bossier Receives Funds as Part of CNG Initiative
The Haynesville Shale is already bringing prosperity to northwest Louisiana with the collaboration of its citizens, TCD's natural gas associates and entrepreneurs. Bossier City is receiving funds to construct an all-encompassing clean-fleet program that includes converting several heavy-duty trucks that will run on compressed natural gas (CNG) and creating two CNG/E85 fueling stations. This program is the first of its kind in the region that will take advantage of the abundance of natural gas in The Haynesville Shale.

Healthy 2010 Budgets for Caddo Parish and Shreveport
The Haynesville Shale is receiving credit for a portion of Shreveport and Caddo Parish’s good financial position. This is due in part to the number of jobs it has created in the parish and also from funds Caddo Parish has received from the leasing of its mineral rights.
