Community Involvement

We make it a priority to contribute to the communities where we work and live by sponsoring local events and investing in our relationships with neighborhood associations, residents, and non-profit organizations. Here are some examples of our most recent community involvement:

$2,500 to the Northwest LA Chapter of the American Red Cross

TCD donates to Red CrossTCD recently donated $2,500 to the Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross. The Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

“Twin Cities Development has shown that it is committed to strengthening the fabric of northwest Louisiana by contributing to the relief efforts of the Red Cross. We are truly blessed to have such a valuable ally protecting our communities during times of crisis.” Reid Brau, Executive Director of the Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Caddo Parish Meals on Wheels Program Receives New Wheels

TCD donates to Caddo Parish Meals on WheelsTwin Cities Development (TCD), along with Chesapeake Energy Corporation and Franks Exploration Company, recently donated a new 2008 Kia van to the Caddo Council on Aging - Meals on Wheels program. The vehicle has increased the agency’s service capacity and saves on program costs.

“We are very excited about the donation of this new van,” said Mary Alice Rountree, Executive Director of Caddo Council on Aging. “I admire the companies who came to the forefront to help, especially during these tough economic times.”

“At TCD we believe that it’s important to be a meaningful part of the community in which we work and live,” said Matthew Montgomery, President of Twin Cities Development.

Meals on Wheels is a service designed to help seniors maintain their independence. A hot meal that meets one-third of the daily requirements for senior nutrition is delivered by volunteers to local seniors throughout Caddo Parish who are unable to shop and/or cook for themselves.

Our Involvement with Community Renewal International

Community Renewal and Twin Cities Development PartnerTwin Cities Development is committed to developing communities across Northwest Louisiana, which is why we have dedicated a significant amount of our time and resources to programs created by Community Renewal International. Most recently, Twin Cities Development was a table sponsor at Community Renewal’s Annual Cornerstone Campaign Banquet. Twin Cities’ landmen also donate their time on a quarterly basis, volunteering for various Community Renewal projects in Shreveport and Bossier City.
